| Have you thought
about? |
Number of guests
The number of guests will determine the size
of the marquee required and the amenities, furniture and catering
that you need to consider. Will they all need to be seated at the
same time to eat? Will they all turn up? What will they need throughout
the event?
|
Location
When planning the site of the event you
need to be aware of the environment. Are there any underground pipes,
electrical cables or obstructions that will prevent a marquee being
erected? It is also a good idea to inform close neighbours about your
plans and to think about how the delivery of your marquee might affect
them. Parking space for your guests is also a consideration worth
giving thought.
|
Event date
This can be a crucial factor when planning.
Although bank holiday weekends are attractive for hosting your event
remember to book early as everyone else has the same idea. This can
make the hiring of marquees, caterers, staff and toilets all very
difficult and on occasion more expensive. Plan ahead to avoid disappointment,
or plan it on a different weekend when you can guarantee the availability.
|
Toilets
With over a hundred people attending are
your own facilities going to cope? Do you really want to have 100
guests traipsing through your house? How far away are the nearest
toilets? These are all questions that you should ask yourself. We
have a selection of toilets to suit your occasion and will be happy
to explain them. Click here for more information.
|
Bar
Will you hire a bar and run it yourself,
or simply get someone in? There are a number of alternatives on offer. You
could also hire a bar and staff for the evening and supply your own
drinks or you can choose to hire the whole service in. We are able
to provide each of the options, the choice is yours but be aware that
stocking a bar although may seem cheap and easy it can be difficult
and expensive to satisfy everyone's tastes. It can also be time consuming
which causes you to miss out on your own event. Think about your event,
the people attending and the costs involved. One of our team will
be happy to talk you through the options.Click
here for more information.

Catering
Guests can take a lot of feeding, are you
prepared to take this on or do you choose to get a caterer in? We
have a wide selection of caterers who would happily quote you for
providing this service. This will allow you to best weigh up your
decision. Be aware that cooking the food, storing the food, serving
the guests, cleaning up the aftermath and still having time to enjoy
yourself can be a huge task. For a full list of caterers and what
they can offer click here.

DJ/Band/Entertainment
So you have got the big day planned, the
drinks, the food and facilities but where do you start with the entertainment?
We have jugglers, fire breathers, clowns, DJ's, and bands that can
all provide your entertainment. The only choice you have to make is
what will suit? Click here to see
a full list of entertainers and styles.
|
Children?
Now that you have all the adults catered
for what about the children? As mentioned we are able to provide clowns,
jugglers and balloon modellers. You may also want to consider a bouncy
castle. Very cost effective and available in a variety of styles and
sizes they can keep an army of children happy for hours. Adults can
have a bouncy castle of their own or choose to try on a sumo suit
and have a go at wrestling. For further details click
